Welcome to the Cuyuna Crusher! Home of Cuyuna's famous Red Dirt Trails!
Voted MNMBS 'Best Race' in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2021 and record setting participation in 2022, the Cuyuna Crusher is an experience like none other. Mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels along with their friends and families are invited to the Cuyuna Lakes Area for the Annual Cuyuna Crusher sponsored by the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber and the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series. The Cuyuna Crusher takes place in the Mahnomen Unit of the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area.
Bring your family and enjoy all that the Cuyuna Lakes Area has to offer! Take the loved ones swimming, diving, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding in our crystal clear mine lakes, stop in for a bite to eat at one of the many eateries and rest your heads in one of the many great lodging options. The Cuyuna Crusher draws in over 700 individuals from states as far away as Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wisconsin. These numbers continue to climb year after year, since Crusher’s origination in 2015. The Cuyuna Crusher is race #9 of 10 in the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series Races and was voted “Best Race” of the series in 2015,2017,2018, 2019 and 2021. With a record setting participation in 2022 of 614 racers, the Cuyuna Crusher has become an experience like non other! Mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels along with their families and friends come to the Cuyuna Lakes Area to experience the uniqueness of our red-dirt trails and mountain-like terrain.

The CCSRA was utilized by 99,262 bikes on the trails (22,043 of those bikes were in August alone). With a record attendance of 614 racers participating in the Crusher in 2022, along with the support systems they brought with to cheer them on, your business will stand out in the Mountain Biking Community.

The Crusher provides you an opportunity to network with several area businesses and organizations while engaging face to face with the outdoor enthusiasts and local community and is an opportunity to showcase your product/services to over 700 individuals the day of the event and thousands more in the month leading up to it.

In 2022 the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area was utilized by 99,262 bikes on the trails (22,043 of those bikes were in August alone). Over 98,000 vehicles visited the CCSRA in 2022 with numbers continuing to go up as more people throughout the USA learn about the uniqueness of the Cuyuna Lakes Area and all we have to offer.
