Crosby’s third annual Sip & Savor event, a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber featuring craft beer and wine tastings, appetizers and other specialties from area restaurants and caterers, will be Thursday, May 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the shore of Serpent Lake at Crosby Memorial Park.
At the end of the evening, each attendee will be asked to vote by ballot for their favorite appetizer. The winner will receive recognition by the Chamber and the media.
There will also be a raffle to benefit the Chamber. Tickets are only $5 and the winner need not be present. The raffle’s first prize is a custom St. Croix fishing rod and reel. Second prize is golf for four at Ruttger’s Jack’s 18 course and lunch or dinner at Zig’s. The third prize is a one-day pontoon rental from Hansen Sports and four large Lonesome Pine pizzas.
Sip & Savor tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for others and may be purchased in advance by calling the Chamber at 218-546-8131. Event proceeds will be used by the Chamber to attract additional visitors to the area. Reservations are required by Monday, May 21.
