Enjoy live music by E-squared and Winterkill while overlooking the spectacular views of Serpent lake at Cuyuna Lakes Chamber’s Music in the Park event on Thursday, July 11. The free, family fun event will feature music, food, games and more at Crosby’s Memorial Park from 5 to 8 p.m.
Sponsored by the Cuyuna Range Lions, the event will include games and prizes for the kids.
E squared is a local duo featuring singer/songwriter Emily Hammer and classically trained cellist Erin Sjolinder offering dreamy soulful lyrics with cello harmonies. Erin and Emily’s raw natural talent, combined with over 13 years experience each, allows them to create original music effortlessly. Their shows are engaging, thoughtful, and truly an experience you don’t want to miss.
Winterkill is Christian McShane & Lauren Betz, who deliver powerful renditions of Aerosmith to Zeppelin & everything in between. The only thing they refuse to play is "new country". Christian and Lauren met through their local farming community. At the first mention of music, they decided they should collaborate. Winterkill is merely a fun side project for both of them. They hope to work on original compositions soon!
Mixed Company a Kava House will be serving food and refreshments so come hungry and enjoy the music!
Music in the Park continues the second and fourth Thursday evenings June through August from 5 to 8 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and sit back and enjoy live music while overlooking the spectacular views of Serpent Lake.
